Privacy Policy — Zenit Polar

Last updated: July 2026

Zenit Polar ("the app") is developed by an independent developer. This policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and what choices you have.

1. Information the app stores

Zenit Polar stores your translations, conversations, and custom ciphers locally on your device only, using Apple's on-device storage framework (SwiftData). This data is never uploaded to, or stored on, any server operated by us. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.

2. Microphone and speech recognition

If you use the voice dictation feature, audio is processed using Apple's built-in Speech framework, which performs recognition on-device whenever possible. We do not record, store, or have access to your voice recordings. Microphone access is only requested when you actively tap the dictation button, and only for the duration of that recording.

3. Advertising

Zenit Polar displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Depending on your consent choice (presented via Google's User Messaging Platform, in compliance with GDPR for users in the European Economic Area), AdMob may collect data such as advertising identifiers to show relevant ads. We do not control or have access to this data ourselves; it is governed by Google's own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. You can change your ad consent choice at any time from within the app.

4. No account or personal data collection

Zenit Polar does not require you to create an account, and does not ask for your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information.

5. Children's privacy

Zenit Polar is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
